Our History

Ampayon National High School was formerly known as Ampayon Integrated High School started in the school year 2009 - 2010 occupying Ampayon Central Elementary School’s multipurpose building with 54 first year students In the next school year, 2010 - 2011 the school was identified as Taligaman National High School, Ampayon Annex where student’s population rose to 140 with 2 sections each for the first and second year. In the succeeding school year, 2013 - 2014 the new school site where the school stands today was opened as Ampayon Integrated Secondary School. The school was granted a special order from the DepEd Regional Office with serial no 5050018 series 2014 dated June 20 2014 which grants the school to operate as the nationalized high school which is the very basis of its foundation day.

During the second phase of K to 12 Curriculum implementation in the year 2016 the school opened its Senior High school with General Academic Strand Program with more than 40 students enrolled in Grade 11. It was in the same year that the senior high school building was completed. In the year 2018 the school completed the last cycle of K to 12 Curriculum implementation with its first 28 Senior High School graduates ready to meet the demands of time.

Over the years, our commitment to academic excellence has been unwavering. We continually adapt our curriculum and facilities to meet the challenges of the modern world, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared for higher education and future careers.

To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education where: Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating environment. Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner. Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen. Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long learners.
